The Invitational Summer Institute is the cornerstone of the UIWP and is designed for experienced teachers from all disciplines and at all levels of instruction. Participating teachers will
- have opportunities to demonstrate their own best practices and classroom successes;
- study writing theory and research;
- experience the writing process by writing and sharing their writing in small groups;
- learn about digital literacy and video as a rhetorical medium through hands-on training;
- publish their work on-line.
